An Introduction to Foil
Foil transfers come with a clear adhesive layer (requires weeding) that is first pressed onto the garment. Then the foil layer is pressed on top of the adhesive layer. 2 presses required for one color foil print. It is difficult to create multi-color foil prints, but it can be done if the colors are not too close to each other in the design.
For large orders (50+ pcs), we can screenprint the adhesive layer directly onto the garment and apply the foil for you. No weeding/adhesive vinyl layer required, and more cost-effective.
Note: Due to the delicate pressing process, and low temperature required for application, foil CANNOT be combined with any other material.
DESIGN SETUP FEES:
All designs submitted will be charged a one-time design fee for creating the CAD files necessary to produce the finished product, even if finished product is never ordered by you.
Our design fee structure is simple: Just $35 per hour for all design work; 15 minute ($8.75) minimum.
Since the amount of design time required for a project depends on a number of factors and can vary widely, it is difficult to estimate ahead of time. However, we have created a sample pricing page which shows examples of other custom projects, and their time and costs.
You can choose the speed at which we create and deliver your design proofs & price quote. Daily submission deadline is 3:00pm MT Mon-Fri, and assumes all required specifications are included in the request. Our commitment to 1, 2 or 3 day turnaround does not begin until we have all necessary detail to complete the design. Proofs are e-mailed to you by 3:00pm MT on the delivery date. If your proof is finished early it will be sent early. Designs are kept in your account permanently and do not expire.
Restrictions/Limitations: By submitting this form you agree that you have permission to recreate any logos/artwork/trademarks requested. If the project involves trademarks, pro sports logos, collegiate names/images or similar types of potentially unpermissable designs, we may require documentation stating your license to reproduce it and proof that your license extends to us to manufacture it.
